    0.2.0 — 2026-10-15

V2 (Trust and Social) complete: identity, per-viewer trust, disputes, share
links, messaging, corroboration, contribution stats, full-screen TUI, and a
native Spotify-layout GUI. Built on V1's delivered core (byte-exact p2p
fetch/play proven on real machines on different networks).

    Added

    Trust & social (V2)

    • Identity: keypair identities (outflux id), passphrase-encrypted secrets.
    • Per-viewer trust graph: signed attestations in per-identity logs, hop-folded
per viewer — never a network-wide score. trust / graph.
    • Disputes & blocks: flags weighted by per-viewer trust at threshold 0.5,
state rendered as "disputed", never deletion. disputes / blocks / flag / block.
    • Share links: signed trust-edge links; adopt requires explicit consent
(a follow is a public act). Links degrade gracefully without the app —
the link explains itself (title, sender fingerprint, remedy, no-server note).
    • Messaging (Phase 7): 1:1 messages as recipient-sealed frames in the
      sender's log (static-static X25519 over identity keys); track-share-with-note
reuses the share/adopt path; read receipts fold per-viewer. Both-online
delivery, stated on every send (Keet's shipped model). msg / inbox.
    • Independent-import corroboration: imported attestations written only
through the real ingestion path; per-viewer fold where independence = no
follow edge either direction; saturating strength; evidence in disputes,
      never a machine verdict.
    • Contribution stats: local bytes-served accounting per peer + 7-day totals,
probe-verified pin status. Visible, never enforced. stats.
    • Trust-weighted peer selection: followed peers are asked first for bytes;
ordering is influence, never a gate.
    • Spectral-cutoff detection: measured FFT evidence (advisory only — a real
96 kHz tape rip and an upsampled transcode share the same shape; a spectral
      number is never machine-bad).

    TUI

    • Full-screen diff-painted terminal client over the control API: library with
      honest D3 states ([D] downloaded / [S] announcing — never blurred), import
      flow, per-viewer trust/disputes summary, persistent public-network disclosure.
Interactive client under plain node (bare has no setRawMode); renderer halves
      bare/D2-clean.

GUI (new native shell, supersedes the Pear scaffold)

    • Native Rust shell (egui), all look-and-feel from YAML themes (strict schema;
dark default + light "Paper" shipped; live reload; persisted choice).
    • Spotify-style layout: left nav (Home/Search/Your Library + secondary
Trust/Disputes/Share/Settings), card grid, filter-as-you-type search, bottom
now-playing bar wired to the daemon's real playback endpoints — capability
bits render disabled controls rather than fake ones.
    • The GUI drives the same JS core unchanged via a Core-trait seam + sidecar —
the seam is the contract for a future native Rust core.

    Notes

    • Forgejo CI green on the release tip (runs 4–10 success).
    • Not in this release: listening parties (in flight), TUI per-row announced-state
      read route, messaging retraction.
    • 682/682 JS tests, 2879 asserts, lint clean; GUI 8/8 cargo tests, measured
      at the merge.
